Philly cheesesteak Sloppy Joes
Ingredients:
1 lb Pitchfork Ranch ground beef
1 yellow onion
8 oz mushrooms
1 Green pepper
8oz Provolone cheese slices
6 Brioche hamburger buns
Salt, Pepper, garlic powder, 2 Tablespoons Ketchup, 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 cup Beef broth, 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
Brown the beef in a cast iron skillet until a deep brown crust appears. When you have a crust break apart the beef and continue to brown until a crust is visible on at least half of the beef.
Remove beef from skillet leaving the fat in the cast iron.
Add peppers, onions and mushrooms. Let these brown for several minutes before stirring. After stirring let the vegetables brown for several more minutes.
Add beef back into the pan
In a small bowl mix the broth, cornstarch, ketchup, Worcestershiresauce, salt, pepper together then add to the pan.
Continue to cook for 4 more minutes until a majority of the liquid is absorbed.
Turn off the heat and add the provolone cheese. stir until the cheese is melted.
Serve on buns and enjoy!
